DeMarco opened the scoring for Lowell with a short-handed goal 2:29 into the game. Wakefield evened the score in the second period until junior Thomas Hassett scored an unassisted goal to give Lowell a 2-1 lead. Wakefield scored the next two goals to take a 3-2 lead. Hassett tied the game with his second goal with 2:50 left in the game to even the score which led to DeMarco ƒ €š €ž s heroics. Senior Brendan Broderick had 3 assists for the victors. Junior Ben Asselin, DeMarco and Hassett all added single assists for Lowell. Junior Patrick Cote had 23 saves for the win.

Junior Thomas Hassett scored his 4th goal of the game with 14 seconds remaining as Lowell defeated Methuen in an MVC/DCL inter-division game. Lowell jumped out to a 1-0 lead 2:09 into the first period on Hassett ‚ „ s first goal assisted by sophomore Brendan DeMarco and freshman Shawn Spring. Methuen evened the score before Hassett struck again. DeMarco picked up his second assist of the game and sophomore Owen Goulette also assisted. Methuen scores the next two goals to take a 3-2 lead entering the third period. Lowell killed a double minor penalty to start the third period with great work by Matt Asselin, Ben Asselin and Andrew Kotsifas. Hassett scored an unassisted power play goal with 10 minutes remaining to even the score. That goal was Hassett ‚ „ s 100th point in a Red Raider uniform. With less than 20 seconds left Goulette picked up the puck behind the net and found Hassett in front for the goal and the win. Junior Patrick Cote made 28 saves to earn the win.

Lowell erased a 4-1 first periord defecit to defeat visiting Newton South 5-4 in an MVC/DCL game at Tsongas Center. Newton South jumped out to a 3-0 lead before sophomore Matt Asselin put Lowell on the board. Newton South added another goal to extend the their lead to 4-1 at the end of the first period. Lowell sophomore Owen Goulette scored the only goal in the second period to cut into Newton South's lead. Junior Thomas Hassett scored an unassisted goal early in the third period and then sophomore Brendan DeMarco scored both the tying and game winning goals to give Lowell the dramatic come from behind win. Junior Ben Asselin assisted on two of Lowell's goals, while Matt Asselin, Andrew Kotsifas, Shawn Spring, Keegan Cote and Hassett each added an assist. Juniors Andrew Kotsifas (2) and Thomas Hassett scored Lowell €™s other goals. Owen Goulette had four assists, Hassett added two, and Cam Trull, Brendan Broderick and Jacob Heartquist each had one. With the win Lowell improves to 12-2-2 on the season.

Lowell jumped out to a 2-0 lead after the first period on goals from sophmore Matt Asselin and his brother, junior Ben Asselin. The score remained 2-0 through the second period. Junior Thomas Hassett scored early in the third period to extend Lowell's lead and sophomore Brendan DeMarco capped the scoring for Lowell midway through the final period with a power play goal. Matt Asselin added two assists, while Ben Asselin, Owen Goulette, Hassett and DeMarco each contributed one. Lowell improved to 13-2-2 on the season. Lowell held its 3rd Annual Hockey Fights T1D fundraising game as it raised close to $6,000.00 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
